Hunter and Reid chose to work instead of having the day off, because it was the last day of the pay period. We did a whole lot of nothing for most of the afternoon and then we got Morgan's costume ready and went to Mom and Dad's old neighborhood (where Morgan's friends live) to trick or treat. We walked around the neighborhood with some of his friends at a VERY slow and doddling pace and then went to mom and dad's for a visit and then to Mindy's for a visit.
Halloween is usually so hectic, but with one kid it's a breeze.
We had a lot of practice on this Dracula face. Morgan dressed in his costume 3 different times for ward parties and Halloween.
I really loved the nerd costume. For Halloween day at school they couldn't wear face paint or masks and they were having a "vocabulary" parade so their costume was supposed to reflect their word. Morgan chose "geek" so we made a pocket protector and some glasses. He was very proud and had a great day. I think you gotta be pretty confident to rock a costume like that one!

My costume for the ward party. The first counselor saw me as we were coming in the door and said "oh Wonder Bread. Great costume." It took me a minute to figure out what he was saying. I probably should have dressed up like Sponge Bob again.

Wonder bread! Ha ha that's funny. He didn't see twister down at the bottom huh. I love Morgan's nerd costume...it's so cute and it makes him look so innocent. ;) And you did a great job on the face makeup for his other costume!
Cute costumes! I have lost about 5 more pounds since the reunion. That makes a total of 15 pounds for the year. I wanted to do 25 for the year, but I think I will settle for 20. That means I need to get busy and lose 5 more pounds. My neighbor and I started doing a kid swap 3 days a week to go exercise. She watches my kids for 45 minutes while I exercise and then I do the same for her. Also a little side note Dan and I are coming to Vernal in a few weeks. We plan to arrive on Sunday the 23rd and leave on Tuesday the 25th.

Wonder Bread....bbffffttt! Just kidding. I thought it was cute, and those pictures of Morgan are adorable. He was a really cute geek. Hey your going to have to teach em how to do the comment moderation thing. I've been trying to figure it out, but I'm having difficulty.

Jana!!! You rock my world... I TOTALLY think we should have a Heaton family party. My sisters will be with their in-laws, but that's cool, it will still be way fun! I loved it a couple years ago when it was at my house... that was tons of fun :) Let's do it. Call me and we'll figure something out. I'll be home for Thanksgiving so maybe we could talk about it then!
